Showdown in the Green Room

Matt Papa foolishly challenged me to a pull-up competition. The end of the matter was to be expected: I beat him soundly. And since I have twice his body weight, it’s as if I’ve done nearly triple the amount of work that he did. He was a bit of a sore loser, accusing me of not fully extending my arms. I’m happy to let you, the viewer, decide. In your face, Papa.

(Update: probably should have mentioned the official, prior-to-agreed-upon rules were that you only needed to go 2/3 of the way down–not full extension. We appointed two independent judges to monitor. You were allowed 2 “almost down far enough but not quite” fouls before a pull-up was disqualified).
